Our Stories - Beckley Health Right

Two years ago, a friend introduced Nancy to Beckley Health Right when she had hit rock bottom, and it changed her life. She had no insurance and was unable to afford the $950 monthly cost of life-sustaining medications that controlled her diabetic condition and history of blood clots. She and her husband were living on his fixed income as she struggled with trying to get some Bible Prophecy and Christian Fiction books published that she had written. Through Beckley Health Right, Nancy not only receives her medications, but also any necessary diagnostic testing and lab work to adequately monitor her conditions. She also successfully completed an educational program at Beckley Health Right, (Diabetic Disease Management Program) designed to help patients live well and to better cope with diabetes.

"Without Beckley Health Right, I have no doubt that I would be dead today! Not only are they helpful and knowledgeable, but when you go there…you feel like family." Nancy Shrader - 2007
