A free & charitable medical clinic providing comprehensive primary medical care and prescription medications to low income, uninsured and underinsured adult patients from a two county area in north central West Virginia - Harrison and Doddridge Counties.
Access to quality medical care and prescription medications should be a right of all people regardless of their socio-economic standing and all persons receiving services and treatment at Health Access, Inc. will be treated with a high level of dignity and respect.
Health Access, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 charitable agency founded in August of 1992 by a local physician with financial support from the Harrison County Medical Society and Mylan Pharmaceuticals. It has had the strong support from volunteer providers and medical specialists and a partnership with United Hospital Center throughout its years of operaton.
Primary Medical Care including exams and treatment for chronic diseases - Diagnostic Testing - Pharmaceuticals and Medication Assistance Programs - Individual Patient Counseling and Education - Advocacy and Referrals to Specialty Providers - WV Breast & Cervical Cancer Screening Program and WV WiseWoman Program - On-Site Dermatology, ENT, and Psychologist Counseling services each week.
Who Is Served
Low income (at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level Household Income), Uninsured, or Underinsursed (WV Medicaid ONLY) adult patients who reside in either Harrison or Doddridge Counties, West Virginia.
