Good Samaritan Clinic, Inc.

History

Organized in 1991, the Good Samaritan Clinic provides free health care to those in the Mid-Ohio Valley who:

  • Do not qualify for Medicaid
  • Do not qualify for Medicare
  • Do not qualify for any type of health insurance
  • Have incomes that fall at the Federal Poverty Guidelines

The clinic is staffed primarily by healthcare professionals who care enough to donate their time and resources to the community and those in need.

Mission
To improve the health of the community by providing a facility where qualified volunteers can deliver quality patient care and provide education in an atmosphere of social concern.

How do I qualify for care at the Good Samaritan Clinic?
In order to be eligible you must not have Medicaid, Medicare or any type of health insurance, PLUS your income should fall at or below 133% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

What types of services are offered at the Good Samaritan Clinic?

  • Primary Health Care Services are offered by a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Monday - Friday by appointment only
  • Physician Clinic by appointment only on the First and Third Thursdays
  • Pharmacy Service limited to those prescriptions written at the Good Samaritan Clinic only. The ONLY cost to you is a $1.00 handling fee/donation, requested at the time of filling the prescription
  • Referrals to local hospitals, specialty physicians and Human Service Agencies

Thursday
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. - (On the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month)

Friday
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
